Greg Hortin

Manager Outside Services

Greg Hortin has spent the past 33 years working in the design engineering field, with a strong focus on home appliances. His experiences include 26 years at Whirlpool Corporation where he led the design and production launch of many ice and water features on residential refrigerators as well as leading the Global Ice and Water R&D group for the last five years of his career.  
 
After leaving Whirlpool in 2013, he co-founded Envolve Engineering in Evansville, Indiana, and has enjoyed working and growing this contract engineering business over the past seven years. Many of Envolve’s clients are major OEMs and suppliers to the appliance industry.   
 
Greg holds a BSME from the University of Evansville. He and his wife, Sherry, enjoy traveling, and camping in their motorhome with their Springer Spaniel, Dyson.
